Comment(s): Runnymede Park has a small picnic shelter that can be rented. The picnic shelter can hold up to 70 people. Runnymede Park is located 195 Herndon Parkway between Elden Street and Dranesville Road. The shelter is rented in 5 hour blocks and the prices listed are for 5 hours. The rental fee is $50 for Town of Herndon residents or $75 for nonresidents. Electricity is not available at Runnymede Park. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date and time. The deposit is 40% of the total charges and is part of the total fees. There are no restrooms at Runnymede Park but port-o-lets are available. There is NO refund for inclement weather. However, an effort will be made to reschedule the event provided a date is available.

• There are NO alcoholic beverages allowed in the parks


• You must be sure to dispose of and properly recycle all trash


• Parking is limited to designated areas


• Moon bounces, inflatables, ponies, petting zoos, bands, DJs  and PA Systems are not permitted


• Number of people may not exceed maximum capacity


• Please do not move tables out of the shelter


• All park use must conform to town code
